Fall 2024 Courses Offered
IN-PERSON Public Forum Debate Class
Sunday Afternoons from 4PM to 6PM EST
We offer in-person classes to help newer debaters sharpen their skills and fully master the fundamentals of Public Forum Debate, building a strong foundation for future success. Our coaches have earned numerous awards, championships, and top national rankings throughout their high school debate careers. (Click here for a full list of our championship-level faculty).
These courses are designed to provide a comprehensive foundation to Public Forum Debate—the most popular format of competitive debate in the U.S. Through engaging lectures, interactive exercises, and practice rounds, students will master fundamental argumentation skills. Students in grades 4-9 are welcome to register for this course.
We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure that every student receives a personalized learning experience. Students will be grouped into different cohorts according to their age and prior experience.
Ten, two-hour classes from September to November.
Classes are scheduled for the following dates:
September 8, 15, 29
October 6, 13, 20, 27
November 3, 10, 17
Location: Presbyterian church in Livingston,
271 W Northfield Rd, Livingston, NJ 07039
Tuition: $950 for a total of 20 hours of classes
ONLINE Public Forum Debate Travel Team
Sunday Evenings from 7PM to 9PM EST.
The travel team will prepare students to compete at national debate tournaments throughout the school year, such as the Northwestern University Invitational, the Georgetown Invitational, Stanford Invitational and the Harvard National Speech and Debate Tournament etc. Our coaches have earned numerous awards, championships, and top national rankings throughout their high school debate careers. Thirteen, two-hour classes from September to December.
Classes are scheduled for the following dates:

October 6, 13, 20, 27

December 1, 8
Tuition: $1250 for a total of 26 hours of classes
