The Harvard National Speech and Debate Tournament took place from February 15 to 17, 2025. As one of the most prestigious and competitive debate tournaments in the world, this year's event brought together approximately 5,000 debaters from across the globe, competing at an exceptionally high level.

After three days of intense competition, all six Public Forum (PF) high school debate teams trained by Omega Speech and Debate Club delivered outstanding performances in the preliminary rounds and successfully advanced to the elimination rounds.

This Year's Debate Resolution:

"Resolved: The United States should accede to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court."

Dedicated Coaching Support

Throughout the competition, Omega coaches Matthew Zhang (Harvard '27), Ryan Jiang (Harvard '27), and Dennis Liu (UPenn '26) provided full support to the debaters. They observed rounds, conducted in-depth analyses, and led nightly recap sessions at the hotel. To ensure the best possible preparation and guidance, the coaches worked tirelessly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, staying up late into the midnight.
